The Territory Government is increasing its support to our exporters with the delivery of TradeStart services secured in the Territory for the next 4 years.

A key action of the Northern Territory Government’s International Engagement Strategy 2022-2026 is to increase international trade to 15% higher than forecast by 2026.

TradeStart ongoing services means Territory businesses will continue to have access to Austrade’s global network and resources, providing businesses with expert advice, connections to customers in overseas markets, and insights to help local businesses develop their export markets.

Co-funded in the Northern Territory between the Federal and Territory Government’s the program will help small and medium businesses sell their products and services overseas.

Trade and Tourism Minister Don Farrell said, Australian exporters make a huge contribution to our economy. More trade, means more well-paying jobs, more national income, more opportunities for businesses and a lower cost of living.”

“TradeStart advisors will make it easier for Australian businesses, particularly in regional Australia, who are looking to expand their horizon and share their quality products and services to the world.”

Mr Iain Forrest has been delivering TradeStart services for the past 12 months and he will continue as the Northern Territory based TradeStart Advisor.
