Amanda

Olá! My name is Amanda, I am 17 years old and I have been living in Darwin since January 2019. I am from Brazil and I believe that moving to another country was the most challenging thing I have ever done.

I came to Australia to live with my family and finish high school in Darwin, but I did not know that I was going to find so many cultures and incredible people on this journey. This change of country made me improve in so many ways that I thought was not even possible, being only 17 years old. 

I am currently in year 12 at Darwin High School and I believe that being part of the StudyNT Student Ambassador program is great for helping people and improving skills for my personal and professional future. I still have many goals to achieve and I think that studying in Darwin is a perfect opportunity for me to get different experiences and meet new people. 

Studying abroad is very challenging but you can learn so much about yourself and others. Darwin is a great example of this as it is such a multicultural city and I love being part of this community.
