About Jessica
When I completed my secondary junior course and my father asked me if I was interested to continue my studies in Darwin, of course I said yes because I believe that I can get a better education here. Now I’m studying in year 11 at St John’s Catholic College.
I also saw it as an opportunity to expand my social environment. I have many friends from Australia, Thailand, China, Africa and Indonesia studying in Darwin. I enjoy living in Darwin because the environment is really clean and nice. There are many parks, lots of greenery, beautiful sunsets and fewer crowds compared to big cities. The parks and greeneries are very tidy and neatly organised which evokes a calm and soothing feeling when I look at it.
Darwin is the type of city that is suitable for studying as it is less crowded and also because there are not as many traffic noises as there are in my hometown.
