Sarwat

I am Sarwat from Bangladesh, currently studying at Darwin High School in year 11. I have studied in the United States before as a scholarship exchange student and recently moved to Darwin to finish high school here.

Studying in Australia is a lot of people’s dream and I am very grateful to be able to study here, as well as, receive the Study in Australia’s Northern Territory Scholarship. Darwin has been impressing me since day one with its job opportunities and diverse community of people, along with its nature and greenery.

I started high school in early 2023 and I have been loving it. The education system and the classrooms are very organised and student-friendly. The teachers and students are also helpful and understanding. I have not faced any trouble adjusting because of how convenient everything is at the school. As someone who had the opportunity to study in Bangladesh and the United States, I can confidently say that Darwin High School is incredible in terms of education and the school community

I have found that Darwin has numerous employment and volunteering opportunities, and so many activities to get involved in. This city has great facilities, beautiful greenery and is culturally diverse, making it a perfect place for international students to live and thrive. I look forward to graduating high school and making wonderful memories in Darwin.
