My name is Molly and I’ve been living in Darwin nearly my whole life. I grew up in Darwin’s rural area and I’m still here today. I graduated year 12 from Good Shepherd Lutheran College in 2017 and took a gap year.

While I enjoyed growing up in Darwin, I didn’t gain a true appreciation for the Territory until I’d left and then returned. Darwin is like no place else in the world: the weather, the lifestyle and the people make this place a wonderful city to live, work and study in.

While a lot of my friends left Darwin to study, I was lucky enough to find my perfect degree at Charles Darwin University which means I still have the support and familiarities of home. I receive support from the Territory Government through the Higher Achievers Scholarship which made starting university that little bit easier.

I am so glad I found my love for Darwin and the perfect degree for me.
