CDU is a dual-sector university, providing vocational education and training (VET skills-based) and higher (academic-based) education in the same institution. Students can move from the CDU International College or VET to higher education studies, to develop the skills to follow their career paths.
CDU is a leader in online learning and has been delivering distance courses for almost 30 years and on-campus for almost 50 years. The broad range of courses from certificates and diplomas, to undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees are informed by and connected to industry. Courses available to international students include nursing and midwifery, law, engineering, information technology, environmental science, business and accounting, emergency and disaster studies, health sciences, creative arts and humanities, and education.

Canterbury Institute of Management
Canterbury Institute of Management (CIM) is part of Canterbury Education Group that has been delivering courses in Australia (New South Wales (NSW) and Queensland (QLD)) for over 20 years.
Our broad range of courses include certificates and diplomas, to undergraduate and postgraduate (in partnership). Our programs include disciplines of business and commerce, information technology, information systems, hospitality management and project management.
Canterbury Institute of Management is a private higher education provider duly registered and accredited by TEQSA. CIM started course delivery of bachelor of business degrees with four majors and with double majors since early 2020 in NSW. CIM have now set up a new campus in Darwin with its first intake planned from May 2021. CIM Darwin Campus is within walking distance to the main transport, education, sports, government and tourist facilities.
