Canterbury Institute of Management

Canterbury Institute of Management (CIM) is part of Canterbury Education Group that has been delivering courses in Australia (New South Wales (NSW) and Queensland (QLD)) for over 20 years.

Our broad range of courses include certificates and diplomas, to undergraduate and postgraduate (in partnership). Our programs include disciplines of business and commerce, information technology, information systems, hospitality management and project management.

Canterbury Institute of Management is a private higher education provider duly registered and accredited by TEQSA. CIM started course delivery of bachelor of business degrees with four majors and with double majors since early 2020 in NSW. CIM have now set up a new campus in Darwin with its first intake planned from May 2021. CIM Darwin Campus is within walking distance to the main transport, education, sports, government and tourist facilities.

CIM students are supported by skilled and experienced staff. CIM offers smaller classes providing learning advantages of low students-academics staff ratio.

CIM provides a range of services and facilities for students. Some of these include: 

Weekly lectures and tutorials are scheduled for each course and are held in classrooms or computer laboratories. CIM academic staff have relevant appropriate qualifications and experience in teaching and in their professional fields. The academic staff appointments and their academic delivery methods are always aimed at a practical approach to learning.

CIM provides students with a wide range of academic and welfare support services. New students are encouraged to attend the New Students Orientation Program, conducted at the beginning of each semester.

CIM has an in-house Library and Academic Resource Centre with access to textbooks and online academic resources. Students have access to online academic resources for electronic books and online journal databases.
