Roads investment to open up major gas project in the Northern Territory

The Australian Government is taking further steps to fast track the enormous economic benefits of the Beetaloo Basin with the announcement of the Northern Territory’s Gas Industry Roads Upgrades program, funded through the Roads of Strategic Importance  initiative.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Development said this project demonstrates the Australian Government’s commitment to improving the road network in regional, rural and remote parts of the Territory.
