Top End Indigenous land offered up for grazing licences as beef booms

Indigenous land south west of Katherine in the Northern Territory is being offered up for a pastoral lease by traditional owners, in a bid to capitalise on a strong northern cattle industry.

The Northern Land Council (NLC), on behalf of traditional owners, has called for expressions of interest to run cattle on 750 square kilometres of the Menngen Aboriginal Land Trust.
